Dr. Patel originally hails from North Jersey, but now calls Northern Delaware home. She attended St. John’s University in Queens, NY for her Bachelors of Biology and minor in French. She then went on to attend Rutgers School of Biomedical Sciences in Newark, NJ for a Masters of Oral Biology. Dr. Patel attended dental school at the University of Louisville. After dental school, Dr. Patel completed a grueling one year general practice residency in Jersey City, NJ at the Jersey City Medical Center. She learned how to treat complex oral facial trauma and manage medical emergencies well. She solidified her interest in pediatric dentistry at this residency, and then went on to complete a two year residency training in pediatric dentistry at Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA. She is passionate about efficiency, building a lifelong bond with her patients and their families, and most importantly making sure the child has a pleasant dental experience. Her favorite part of pediatric dentistry is having a chance to mold a child’s view about the dentist. She loves that pediatric dentistry has many methods on how to treat an anxious child and that each treatment modality and method changes per child. She would love to spread her knowledge and care for the kiddos of Northern Delaware/Southern PA, a community she is so proud of being a part of!

Dr. Patel currently holds active dental licenses in the states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. She has privileges to perform surgical cases at the Crozer Health Brighton Lakes Surgery Center in Glen Mills, PA. In addition to that, she regularly performs Oral and IV sedation cases in office!
During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and running her food blog.
